Artist Statement: I am on a journey of awakening to who I really AM, as I integrate more of my spirit into my physical body, I find my experience of life is expanding and changing.

I am becoming present and fascinated, finding joy in seemingly insignificant moments, a leaf falls from the tree and I feel like writing a book about it. A stranger passes and I delight in their mere proximity.

The Art of Kundalini, is my way of sharing with you the way it feels to allow the resistances to joy to be acknowledged and ultimately allowed to roll away leaving me free to simply be.

Mariamne of Magdala - The Magdalene

I am a British artist living and working in NY now for 13 years. I am self taught and began my career as a muralist and decorative painter. I have always been fascinated and drawn to the mystical and ethereal essence of the Goddess, and studied a lot of pagan and ancient mysteries. Eventually my mural painting did not fulfill me anymore and I took to painting my first series of paintings, The Goddess Chakra Series, which began as a way to heal myself in a time that was difficult emotionally. Never really realizing how this series would develop, it has amazed me that from that series of seven paintings, i produced a meditation kit, silk scarfs , candles, oils and jewelry. Since the start of my business Expressions of the Goddess, I have started a new series of 13 paintings called the Expressions of The Sacred Feminine, and I am almost half way through. Eventually these will become an oracle deck, but for now I offer prints, cards, oils and candles. Painting the Divine Feminine is as natural to me as breathing, and I never paint an energy that does not come to me or show herself in some way to be painted. Because of this , my paintings can be quite slow, but over the past year or so, I have found these amazing sacred feminine energies are queuing up to be painted and expressed. The energy of the Divine feminine exists inside each of us. Re-connecting to your own beauty, strength and power, is the 'Gift of the Goddess'. Connection to this magnificent Energy is what inspires, guides and empowers me, and I am called to share this gift in helping others also Re-Connect. It is my wish that others be Inspired, Healed and

Empowered, bringing forth sparkle and grace into your lives.

My name is Robin Adcock, and together with my best friend/lover/fellow artist, Nadine Robb, we make up TheEthosGuild.  Nadine has been drawing ever since she was a child and that creative spark has only grown brighter.  She started painting different aspects of the divine feminine in 2008 using acrylic paints on canvas.  Currently, Nadine makes and sells her own design of 1920's style cloche hats and she also teaches a fashion degree part-time.
I have also been drawing since I was a kid.  I've also tried my hand at writing a short stories of a symbolic/spiritual nature, one of which I'm hoping to self-publish.
Nadine and I met in 2004 and it wasn't until 2011 that we finally combined our creative vision.  Nadine usually draws the original images for TheEthosGuild and then I colour and edit them digitally using Photoshop.  It is very exciting to see the results of what we can do together and there is much more to come!
Nadine and I were both born in New Zealand and currently still live here, in a small city near the bottom of the South Island.

Healing Waters

Carrie Wachter Martinez is a self-taught artist, painter, illustrator, photographer, designer, creative business owner, and mother living in the enchanted Redwood Forest of Northern California. With her company Cara Mia Bella, she creates timelessly charming art that is vibrant, earthy, and delightfully unique, connecting us with the free-spiritedness and beauty of Nature.

Carrie's artwork is full of symbols and images of the Divine Sacred Feminine, and how her exploration of this has empowered and healed her throughout her life.  She paints intuitively, rarely sketching an idea before putting it on canvas.  Her strong spiritual and meditation practice provides her with inspiration for the magical and meaningful paintings she creates, preferring images that inspire and empower.

Carrie is an intuitive psychic, mainly empathic but also clairvoyant and clairaudient;  she is a healer and works with the Earth's energies to bring balance and peace to the lives of others;  she has been reading tarot cards for 25 years.  Through her art and vision, Carrie works daily to create a peaceful, more beautiful world.

When she is not working in the studio, Carrie enjoys being with her family in the peaceful solitude of the mountains surrounded by old-growth forest.  Her home and studio are solar powered, and she has a passion for organic gardening, antiques, and stargazing.  She regularly donates her work to support school and family programs including natural birth and midwifery.   In summertime, her Cara Mia Bella Booth-tique can be found at local farmer's markets and arts and crafts fairs.  She plans to expand her connection to community, and work on ways to use her art for the Greater Good.

The art of Carrie W Martinez can be found at her website www.CaraMiaBella.com; at her Etsy Boutique www.CaraMiaBella.etsy.com; and in stores and galleries in California, Florida, and Pennsylvania.  Look for her work in the We'Moon 2013 Calendar, which will be available internationally in October of this year.

"The presence of the Goddess in my life has led me to reclaim the sacred iconography of the Divine Feminine, and to express Her many forms in paint and mixed media.  My creative vision is to honour women's beauty and strength as mother, leader, priestess, eco-warrior, healer and crone.  The Goddess is an icon of empowerment for all women, a model for re-sanctifying the body, and a catalyst for earth-based spirituality in today's chaotic times.  As a celebration of Goddesses past, present and future, I offer you these images as an affirmation of the fully-empowered woman. Priestess of Bast

Dryad Spirit

Drawing Down the Moon

My name is Mickie Mueller and I've been creating art ever since I can remember. I grew up beneath the great mountains and the desert sky of Albuquerque, New Mexico. They aptly call it "The Land of Enchantment." Both of my parents were prominent artists and craftspeople in the area, and I was influenced by many of the great artists of the Southwest, all friends of the family. In my late teens, I moved with my family to the green rolling hills of Missouri were I now live and makes my home and studio. I began working as a freelance artist in 1983 right out of high school, showing my award winning art in local galleries, and my work appearing in newspaper ads, and CD/cassette covers for local rock bands. I even worked for awhile as a computer colorist for comic book companies like Marvel, D.C. and Dark Horse to name a few.

By the mid 1990’s, I was moving away from creating other peoples visions and began nurturing my own signature fantasy art style as I began creating images from my heart and imagination. I began delving into the magical world that I saw in all places of nature, finding fairies, nature spirits, and Goddesses living in the trees and forests. I developed special techniques like adding magical herbs to my paint to further make my art spiritual and magical.

I now consider myself a Professional Bohemian, creating art, writing, crafting, and teaching classes and workshops for a living. I've created three oracle decks that are published with Llewellyn, The Well Worn Path, The Hidden Path and The Voice of the Trees, A Celtic Divination Oracle that just came out this year. My husband and I run an Etsy shop selling prints and gifts with my artwork on them most of which we create using dye sublimation equipment right in my studio. My new project I'm working on now is a Tarot Deck called The Mystical Cats Tarot for Llewellyn that I'm working on with Lunaea Weatherstone, that will be out in 2014.

Suzanne Cheryl Gardner is a spiritual artist whose metaphysical art radiates a healing energy. Her work reflects the concept of the Divine Feminine and Sacred Goddess Energy... the wisdom of compassion, truth and unconditional love.
In co-creation with her higher spirit she blends mystical symbolism, earth magic, and nature spirits with conscious evolution concepts that are wound like the symbolic spirals of evolutionary growth that she uses in her images. Check out her website for more: Suzanne Cheryl Gardner

Astarte

Hi, my name is Amanda Clark. I live in a little village called Shalford inthe UK. I’ve been painting since I was around 8 years of age. Taught by my Grandmother and Great Aunt who were very talented creative ladies, and they knew how to cherish their herb gardens! I grew up with their teachings. Whenever I stayed with them, we used to paint, sew and make handmade perfumes and tiny fairy gardens. As I got older I carried on with painting and studied myths, legends, folklore and fairytales of Europe, and found I dearly loved the stories of Goddesses and Mother Earth. After sometime studying shamanism and other pagan ways that, I traveled down to the SW of England to all the spiritual and mystical places that folklore was most present. Standing Stones, spirals, symbols of the Goddess and stories not often told. Glastonbury, for me, is the spiritual centre of the UK. The whole town is busy with Goddess workshops, talks, gatherings and sacred places like Chalice Well Gardens. In my work I paint with an unique style when using colour and pattern to
bring out the essence of the fairytale or the natural magical energy of Mother Earth and the Goddesses. I paint with acrylic and sometimes add natural mica gold sparkles, but I’d love to someday make my own natural paints, so keep a lookout for these later on, I will give some paint recipes on my blog page. http://earthangelsart.blogspot.com/. I sell my original paintings through Art Exhibitions, Galleries in the UK, Spiritual gift shops and my Etsy shop for mounted prints. Links to my Etsy shop, books I’ve illustrated, my web site and other inspirational links from Earth Angels Art blog page. Please come and visit often. Next Solo Exhibition is at the Shire Hall in Bodmin, Cornwall, England. 1 May—30 May.

New Moon Goddess

My name is Montserrat and I was born in Barcelona. I have lived in many places and countries, and I am now in the United States.I have always been interested in art, but it was after a series of spiritual experiences that I started to paint with oils.My first paintings were of Cosmic Devas and Angels, but later on the Divine Feminine was awakened within me, and I began to paint the female manifestation of Divinity.Although I practice the middle path of the Buddha, I don't associate with any specific religion, having found that all religions hold beautiful teachings.I strive to find and paint the Divine, whatever shape or form it might take.

I hope you enjoyed exploring the artwork of Montserrat! Please be sure to check out her other beautiful art and products at The Sacred Feminine.com . Stay tuned next month for our next featured artist!
